What happens during a Sound Bath Session?
What to expect:
The practitioner will normally be at the front or centre of the room with the various instruments around them.
Mats will be fanned out so that all participants are as close to the sounds/vibrations as possible. The practitioner may also walk round with the instruments during the session.
Find a mat/position your mat and get comfortable with your cushion and blanket to stay cosy.
A sound bath is an immersive, full body, meditative experience and alternative therapy that ‘bathes’ you in relaxing soundscapes. All you have to do is lie and listen to the sounds and vibrations as the practitioner plays instruments such as singing bowls and chimes .
You may go into a deep meditation, you may fall asleep, you may see colours or experience tingling, or you may simply learn some new things about your mind and body. No two people will experience the same things
